Lop-eared Rabbits As Pets

 

Rabbits are generally very low maintenance pets.  They need good quality pellets, hay, and fresh water daily.  They are very clean and quiet.

 

They do like to chew they so need watching when they are out playing.

 

Here is some information about their personalities:

 

Holland Lops:

• They are generally playful and sweet

• They enjoy spending time with you

• They can be more active than some of the other lop breeds, but that's what makes them more playful

• They are a dwarf breed and weigh between three and four pounds, generally

• They come in lots of different colors

• They are very fun to have around!

 

English Lops:

• They are generally very gentle and sweet

• They weigh between  eight and eleven pounds

• Since they are usually so laid aback, they are great for kids

• They are known for their very long ears

 

American Fuzzy Lops

• They are generally very calm and cuddling

• They grow up to be fluffy and do require some grooming, but they are so adorable

• They weigh between three and five pounds

 

As with anything, there are exceptions to the above...
